Brampton Sisters Swimming Lessons

This is a great opportunity for Bramptonians and others to take swimming lessons with certified instructors. There are two 45 minutes lessons available for registration. The lessons are open to boys 4-5 years, girls 4 years and up, and women of all ages.

United Muslim Martial Arts

umma I attended an UMMA (United Muslim Martial Arts) grading recently. It was very impressive. The discipline and abilities of the participant was amazing. The Chief Instructor is Brother Abdullah Sabree, a black belt but surprisingly he is very approachable and friendly. This is a great way to build self confidence, mental strength, physical fitness, and reduce fear and stress.

Muslim Youth Soccer League

mysl Every summer the Muslim Youth Soccer League (MYSL) runs a soccer league in Mississauga for girls and boys from children to youth ages. Games are held on Sunday afternoons. Its a great way for the family to get out and cheer for their athletic kids as they play soccer, learn to be part of a team, and make new friends. The league even has a division for young women that runs earlier in the day on Sundays.

FMW Women’s Aerobics

October 4, 2009 is the first day of aerobics.

fmw This is a wonderful program. It is lead by Certified Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer Ayah Barakat. She has a great routine and she really gives you a good workout. Even if you have two left feet, you’ll get the hang of it by your second session. You must try this program out, you’ll be happy you did :)

FMW Women’s Basketball

October 4, 2009 is the first day of basketball. You can register on the first day between 10:30am-11am outside the gym. Or you can preregister by sending your name, date of birth, phone number, and email address to one of the contact email addresses below.

fmw This is an awesome program. It is lead by Khadeejah. Each session you will learn some new skills and practice them. Then you get a chance to try those new skills out as you participate in basketball games. Whether you’ve played before or not, you will enjoy yourself immensely!

Note: Wear loose attire with proper running shoes (no short-shorts). Pinnies are provided. Each person should bring their own basketball for warm up practice. There are two age groups; girls 8-12 years (born 1997-2001 only) and above 12 years.
