JJP Women’s Swim Program

by Ameena

This program has been running for a long time so it is very reliable. It is absolutely my favorite place to swim. It is a good sized pool which is always clean and there aren’t many people who come, especially in the winter. I almost don’t want to spread the word for fear of the place getting too crowded :)

The location is quite a distance from where I live but I make the trek because it’s totally worth it. The kids get in free and I can swim for a total of 3 hours without worrying about not having enough time.

Although this location falls in Etobicoke, I would consider it to be more of a Toronto location.

Children 7 years and under must be accompanied by an adult. I recommend that you call the recreation centre before going to make sure that the program is running on the day you plan to attend.

Finding parking can be a challenge. The best place to look for parking is on St. Claire St. west of the building on the south side of the street or on Landsdowne Ave. on both sides of the street.
